KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
In this job you will manage assurance teams delivering sustainability and risk advisory-related engagements, including delivery of reports and presentations to help clients understand and identify their material ESG issues, develop their ESG strategy, quantify ESG impacts, and improve their public disclosures.
In this job you will providing clients with advice on the initial and continuing application of relevant industry reporting Frameworks, including TCFD, SASB, GRI, CDP and Integrated Reporting.
In this job you will supporting clients with identifying and assessing climate change risks & opportunities to inform climate strategy and overall business resilience.
In this job you will leading sustainability assurance procedures of clients’ non-financial information reported in public disclosures using ISAE 3000 and ISAE 3410 accounting standards.
In this job you will contributing to our business development activities, such as proposal development, marketing, and internal and external presentations on ESG trends.
In this job you will on smaller ESG and risk advisory engagements – manage the engagement delivery from client acceptance/reappointment through to delivering the final report and archiving the completed files.
In this job you will on larger ESG and any other risk advisory engagements – execute the engagement delivery by supervising relevant engagement staff and managing upwards to project leaders with ownership.
In this job you will assist in managing engagement’s and organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders.
In this job you will build strong internal relationships within the BDO Risk Advisory Services and across other Service Lines.
In this job you will develop people through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff.
In this job you wilI contributing to BDO’s sustainability and risk management thought leadership.
KEY EXPERIENCE PARAMETERS
At least five years of work experience in sustainability / ESG-related fields, including experience developing sustainability programs and strategies required for this job.
Undergraduate or master’s degree from a reputable institute on sustainability, engineering, business, environmental studies, or another related program preferably related to ESG and sustainability.
Must possess a professional certification in ESG / Sustainability required for this job

Strong understanding of industry reporting frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), SASB, TCFD, and the GHG Protocol required for this job
.
Knowledge and experience in enterprise risk management practices (COSO and ISO31000) required for this job.
